Monday – Clothing Closet

Every Monday from 10-2 we open up our clothing pantry and offer free clothes and personal items to anyone in need. Housed at First-Centenary United Methodist Church in downtown Chattanooga, The Clothes Closet not only strives to meet the needs of our surrounding community through clothing and household items, but it also works to implement programs that promote and sustain community development. Located on the second floor by the sky bridge.

Wednesday – Community and Food Outreach

Every Wednesday from 12-2 Mustard Tree hands out warm soup and sandwiches to those in need. Some of the places we go are the Salvation Army and outside the Chattanooga Community Kitchen. The food and water are given out on a first come, first serve basis so if we do not see you, be sure to come by next week.

Thursday – First Baptist Service

Through the support of various churches in the Chattanooga area and a partnership with First Baptist Church in downtown Chattanooga, every  Thursday evening we offer laundry services, free showers and grooming services which include haircuts and even a massage along with dinner at First Baptist Church in downtown Chattanooga.  Guests are invited to stay for a bible study following each dinner. Contact Herb Hooper for more information on how you can be a part of our Thursday services at FBC

401 Gateway Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402

Sunday – First Centenary Service

Through a partnership with First-Centenary United Methodist Church downtown and local church congregations, we offer dinner and a worship service called Breakthrough Worship from 5-7 p.m. in The Vine. During this service, those we serve have the opportunity to enjoy Holy Communion. As way to show the love of Christ to those we serve, various congregations sponsor and serve our weekly meals.
